Third Growth. Troisieme Grand Cru Classe in 1855. There are three Bordeaux Chateaux called Lagrange - one in Saint-Julien, one in Graves and the other in Pomerol.

Tasting note: Intense colour. Fruity nose with pleasant roasted coffee aromas. Powerful, tannic palate, a traditional Saint-Julien style. It will need time to become more supple. (17-Dec-2008) Gilbert & Gaillard

Wine Spectator - "Subtle aromas of raspberry and coffee bean follow through to a full body, with refined tannins and a fruity finish. Silky and balanced, even delicate. Not at all overdone."
