70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc

The Chateau Haut-Batailley, Pauillac 2007 is a slightly deeper and darker style of fruit.A superb wine with an attractive, lifted, bright composition where everything has come together with a good polished palate. The nose has moderate intensity although it lacks the precision of the 2006. Blackberries, tinctures of mulberry and fresh tobacco, developing touches of violets with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied.
